Wearable Telemetry for Small Mammals: Unlocking New Possibilities in Cardiac, Respiratory & Behavioral Research

Etisense-banner-L.png

Since 2018, ETISENSE has been developing a non-invasive telemetry solution for small mammals, commercially available since 2021 under the name DECRO.
This innovative system combines an instrumented jacket, a lightweight Bluetooth emitter, and a dedicated software suite that collects and analyses high-resolution physiological data - including ECG signals from the skin and respiratory function parameters — without the need for surgical implants. See DECRO models in our portfolio.

Validated in both industrial and academic research settings, DECRO has demonstrated its ability to serve as a reliable alternative to traditional telemetry implants for cardiac monitoring, and to whole-body plethysmography for respiratory endpoints.

It has also opened new avenues for capturing holistic cardiorespiratory and behavioural data in disease models, providing a more refined and animal-friendly approach to in vivo studies.

👉 In this webinar, you'll discover how DECRO works, explore key use cases from real-world studies, and learn how wearable telemetry can help refine procedures and accelerate your in vivo research.

Objectives

• Learn how wearable telemetry works in rats
• Understand how it delivers high-definition ECG data comparable to implant-based systems
• Discover use cases that will help you refine your procedures and accelerate your studies
